Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you.– Unknown

We have all heard of totkas, the rituals which help us get through most of our day to day problems. Amal totkas are pretty much the same, they help us through real life problems.

Amal totkas are Amal Academy’s tips regarding the Growth Mindset Toolkit. They were very beneficial to me and made me think of myself in a different way.

Here are those five totkas

  1. Self Talk
  2. Get Out of your comfort zone
  3. Create a new habits
  4. Ask People Help
  5. Fake it till you make it

Self-talk is your internal dialogue, direct reflection of your mindset. It is said “Whether you think you can, or you think can’t. You are right”. You are what you think of yourself. Positive self talk can be very beneficial and can affect your confidence and self-esteem.

Getting out of your comfort zone from time to time creates just enough good stress to ramp up your focus, and it helps you respond to life stress when unexpected things happen. Try to put yourself in a challenging situation where you have no other choice but to rise

Hobbies help you become more patient. To develop a new hobby, you have to learn how to do something that is brand new to you. You get out of your comfort zone to learn a new skill, for growth mindset it is very important that you keep learning.

Asking for help might feel difficult at start but its worth it, we cant do it all alone. It allows us to surround ourselves with people who can create optimism and hope that we will able to deal with challenging situations, which improves our resilience. Sometimes a moral support is really what we need.

You can always take a deep breath, stand a little taller, or try on a smile. The more you fake it ’til you make it, the more natural it will begin to feel. And pretty soon, you’ll be happier, which means you won’t be faking it anymore.
